Adjusting Sphere Power

System

Precise measurement is possible with the lens set at the correct angle for near vision (closing the convergence lever inward) or distance vision (opening it outward).
This aligns the optical system with the patient’s natural convergence, ensuring accurate testing through the correct optical centers.

System

Near Point Scale and Chart

The scale can be graduated in inches, centimeters, and diopters. It can be positioned at any working distance and stored upright when not in use.
The Near Point Chart includes a rotatable disc with 12 test types on both sides. Total scale length: 67 cm / 26.4 in.

Near Point Scale

Corneal Aligning

Used to align the corneal vertex at the correct position (12 mm from the tester lenses). Measurements should be taken at the “0” position of the scale.

Corneal Aligning

Adjustment Levels

Adjustment range from 45 mm (1.77 in) to 80 mm (3.15 in), with a clear 1 mm (0.04 in) scale.
Convenient knobs on both sides allow smooth and fast adjustments.
Leveling is easy with a one‑touch leveling knob.

Adjustment Levels

Rotary Prism

Accurate readings up to 20∆ in 1∆ steps.
A click‑stop mechanism allows measurement of horizontal/vertical strabismus and heterophoria.
Using both prisms, readings up to 40∆ are possible for binocular balance testing.

Rotary Prism

Accessory Lenses

Includes three spare lenses: -2.00 CYL, -0.12 CYL, and 0.00 CYL.
